Connect in 4 steps
Step 1: Pick your theater
Choose your theater to see its broadcast name.
Step 2: Open your hearing aid app or Auracast list
In your hearing aid app, tap the streaming or broadcast option. Using earbuds? Open your phone’s Bluetooth settings and look for Auracast or audio sharing.
Step 3: Choose your theater’s name
Each theater runs its own broadcast, so you’ll see only the name of the theater you’re in.
Step 4: No password
There’s nothing to enter. Tap the name and you’re connected.
Phonak hearing aids need a QR code to join. Get it at coat check or in your program insert.
No Auracast hearing aids? Borrow a receiver pack at coat check at Belk Theater or Knight Theater.
- Once you’re connected: set the stream volume in your app. You can then lock your phone.
- At intermission: the stream drops when you leave the seating area. Reconnect the same way when you’re back in your seat.
What you need

Don’t see the broadcast?
- Give it a few seconds, then search again. Broadcasts can take a moment to appear.
- Update your hearing aid app, and ask us about your hearing aid firmware.
- Move into the seating area. The signal is strongest inside the theater.
- If the broadcast is listed under Unsupported, your hearing aids can’t stream it. We can help you with options.

What is Auracast?
Auracast is a Bluetooth® technology that lets a venue broadcast audio to any number of compatible listeners at once, a bit like a radio station for your ears.
Instead of borrowing a receiver, you listen through your own hearing aids or earbuds. The sound comes straight from the venue’s audio system, so dialogue and lyrics stay clear over room echo and crowd noise.
Your phone only helps you pick the broadcast. Once you’re connected, the audio goes directly to your ears.
