John began his career in the hearing industry in 1996, building and repairing hearing aids, then later earning his Hearing Instrument Specialist license in 1997. He became Nationally Board Certified in 1999 and continued to practice in Florida until 2004 when he accepted a position with Siemens (now Signia) Hearing Instruments. His job with Siemens brought him to the Carolinas as the Field Sales Account Manager, where he worked with hearing instrument specialists, audiologists, doctors, and university professors across both states. In June of 2011, John opened Sound Advice Hearing Center in Fort Mill, SC. He continued to work with Siemens/Signia Hearing as a product trainer working with clinics and presenting at hearing conferences across the US until 2017.
Since 2011, John has grown his practice and helped thousands of patients thanks to his passion and commitment to help others with their hearing needs. His nearly 30 years of expertise in the industry has enabled many patients who had given up on the thought of hearing well to regain their quality-of-life again.
John has been a member of the River Hills/Lake Wylie Lions Club for the past 10 years where he has served on the hearing committee. He is also currently serving as the SC Hearing Aid Society President, International Hearing Society SC Chapter President & MidAtlantic Hearing Care Conference Education Committee.
